A Large-Scale Model Test System for Stability Study of Tunnel Under Static-Dynamic Load

In order to study the stability of tunnels under static-dynamic load, a new large-scale model test system was developed. The composed static loading unit, dynamic data acquisition unit and bench, which were specially designed overcome technical problems test, such as control, high-rate strain measurement easy operation. used 3600 × 2500 mm in size larger load disturbance area than tests. It can accurately apply three-dimensional gradient stress with adjustable amplitude (or magnitude), frequency waveform simulate true geo-stress field field, rapidly collect displacement, stress, strain, velocity, acceleration other important parameters model. addition, it convenient adjust scale model, remove retain carry out tunnel prototype. results tests consistent numerical by FLAC-3D, proved reliability accuracy system.
